My sister, poet Jade Foster (featured on Jesse Boykins III's album Dopemine and my Mixtape About Something I Think) hosted her 2nd event under her organization Black Church Maraca this past Saturday and it was a great time. A room full of poets, MC's, singers, musicians, A&R's and more rocked the mic as Jade kept us entertained in-between acts.
