So last year around this time, my brother Richie B and I created a documentary and entered it in a national contest called "The Campus Movie Festival." We won 2nd place for best Drama last year BUT our film was re-entered this year! Our documentary will be screened from 11am-5pm this Saturday May 2nd in NYC, followed by a panel discussion.
It's sooooo ironic because I interned last year at Tribeca and now I'm competing! For those who aren't familiar with the Tribeca Film Festival, it was created by Robert Denero, along with his wife, with a goal to screen the top independent films of the year at each festival. It's always a star studded event so if ya can get tickets, you should definitely try to make it.
