I've heard so many people say "DC has lost our Michael Jackson, our Bob Marley." and that's so true. Chuck Brown felt like family to us all. We all have a Chuck story, a time we met him at a gas station, grocery store, Hyatt Ballroom! I had the honor of opening up for Chuck at Unifest and he was just as fly and welcoming as he always was. He loved to see young musicians in DC doing their thing. WE LOVE YOU AND WILL MISS YOU CHUCK! #RIPCHUCKBROWN
