Cons and Wale @ the University of MD
Consequence & Wale At University Of Maryland from Three/21 Films on Vimeo.
Did anyone go to the after party at the Avenue? We went past at like 12, maybe later, and it was looking very lonely.
Mickey answer the phone dammit! & happy belated Matt!
Take the good with the Bad
Ok, so like all artist on the come up, I've been surfing the net reading reviews on different blogs and comments and what not. I am really surprised at the amount of hate I receive. I'm confident enough in my talent to let it roll off my back, most of the time. But it's really unfortunate that some of yall are so busy looking for something negative to say that you can't appreciate the music (and I say yall cause it's some of the same folks I see in the city who show me love to my face and run and hate behind the computer.)
Let me be, dag.
"I'm D.C's daughter/ I love my supporters.........I need my haters like water/ I'm thirsty! And I've been grinding for 9 years I'm early"
I might be new to some of yall, I might even be new to D.C, but I'm not new to this. Jersey knows that, NYC knows that, ATL knows that, London knows that, and now I'm bringing it home where it should be............Bammas about to make me go back to my battle days boyy.....

It's every MC's dream to witness a producers battle: THE BEATDOWN
Judah x J Scrilla
AB the Producer
lol J Scrilla gettin busy
Judah x DJ Overok
Innerloop Records gave us a DOPE event lastnight at Club Felix. AB the Producer, J Scrilla, DJ Mastermind, and Judah all did their thing! I'm not too sure if it was a battle really, but the show was broken up into a number of rounds with performances from A.P and X.O in between.

The PUMA Archive
Strange Music
That joint was soooo packed
RAtheMC x Kurtis Blow
Yeah so this event was nothing short of amazing. Just being in the presence of hip-hop pioneers like Kurtis Blow and Afrika Bambaataa is an honor, so sharing the stage with them was........CRAZY. For those who don't know, the Puma Archive is a annual event that pays homage to early hip-hop by having several MC's and singers cover all the big hits from the late 80's.........As well as original selections from the originators of this thing we call rap!
This year Puma brought us Curtis Blow, Afrika Bambaataa, and Soul Sonic Force! among MANY other killin artist such as A.P, Queen Sheba, Tabi Bonney, X.O, Asheru, West Felton, myself and many more
